Chris Pitsiokos is a Brooklyn-based saxophonist, composer and improviser. His music varies tremendously from contemporary chamber music to harsh-noise-glitched-out-psycho-jazz, to minimal acoustic saxophone solos, to fusion inspired post-jazz, to contemporary improvisation and free jazz.
Chris Ryan Williams is an interdisciplinary artist and educator based between NYC and LA and most at home collaborating with contemporary improvisers and experimentalists. Williams has collaborated with creators Eyvind Kang, Joanna Mattrey, Miriam Parker, Patrick Shiroishi, Bennie Maupin, Nicole Mitchell, Fay Victor, Wendy Eisenberg, Luke Stewart, Amanda Beech, Marjani Forte-Saunders, and Eric Revis.
Luke Stewart is a DC/NYC-based musician and organizer of important musical presentations, and has a strong presence in the national and international Improvised Music community. His regular ensembles include Irreversible Entanglements, Heroes are Gang Leaders, Ancestral Duo, Six Six featuring guitarist Anthony Pirog, and experimental rock duo Blacks’ Myths.
Jason Nazary is a drummer/producer/improviser/composer from Atlanta and based in Brooklyn. Fascinated by the intersection of acoustic and electronic music, Jason has been a force in New York’s creative music scene for over a decade. He co-leads a number of ensembles, among them the dystopian electro noise duo Clebs with singer Emilie Weibel, Anteloper, an improvising modular beat shredding duo with trumpeter/juno explorer Jaimie Branch, Bear In Heaven, a psychedelic, synth heavy indie rock band, and Little Women, a noise meets free jazz, soul quartet.
