Returning after a three year absence, IMOO Fest 2018 will present three days of jazz and improvised music at multiple venues across Ottawa. Featuring many of the top names from the Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto improvised music communities, IMOO is also very happy to present Tokyo’s Satoko Fujii and Natsuki Tamura as our featured “artists in residence” for the weekend.
IMOO Fest will open with a triple bill at General Assembly on Friday September 21st before shifting to Gigspace on Saturday and Sunday (September 22nd and 23rd) with four sets of music each evening. Afternoon matinees will also be offered at Glebe St. James United Church on Saturday and at The Record Centre on Sunday. See the full schedule below.
