IMOO is poised to make its return from a two year pandemic absence with three shows at Gigspace on the weekend of May 14th and 15th!
Performing for the first time in Ottawa will be Houses of Worship, a new duo featuring Montreal guitarist Eric “Thisquietarmy” Quach and synth artist Jim “Hellenica” Demos. Opening for them will be Constellation425, the solo project of Ottawa’s Adriana Ciccone.
Previous IMOO artists Chris Pitsiokos and Ellwood Epps are also both returning with new ensembles. Chris will appear with a new collective quartet featuring fellow Brooklynites Chris Williams on trumpet and Jason Nazary on drums with D.C. bassist Luke Stewart. Ellwood will present his trio with percussionist Matt Crane and drummer Luther Gray along with special guest Lori Freedman.
***Please note that due to the intimate nature of the venue, Gigspace continues to require masks and proof of COVID vaccination for all attendees***
